Congratulations to Dane Arts for celebrating the fifth anniversary of its Dane Arts Buy Local (DABL) two-day market. Dane Arts continues to advance the creative economy and support for artists and arts organizations across disciplines in Dane County.
As County Executive, I will continue to support the work of Dane Arts as it builds its commitment to creativity, community, culture, and commerce. Dane County is extremely lucky to have so many talented artists living within our county, and the DABL market is just one example of our community’s strong relationship between art and business.
This year’s DABL again proves the power of the arts, as it includes a four month exhibition at the Promega Corporation, a poster retrospective exhibition at Yahara Bay Distillery’s Gallery, and several artists producing original game day posters for the new Forward Madison professional soccer team.
Dane County is proud to support our thriving arts and culture communities. Thank you for your partnership as Dane Arts continues its efforts to leave a positive impact on Dane County, its residents, and everyone who enjoys the arts.
