Dane Arts has partnered with Birdwell Solutions to create DAPAR, The Dane Arts Professional Artist Registry, a social media platform for artists in Dane county. DAPAR allows artists to make posts about their work that are then organized in a gallery where people can like and comment. The general public can go to any artist’s page and in a sense tour their gallery. While predominantly being a resource for artists, DAPAR will also be a way for buyers to find artists that match their needs. Ultimately, Dane Arts believes DAPAR is an innovative and enjoyable way to promote local artists and encourage community engagement.
